ADVANCE RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED!

Come walk with one of our experienced and knowledgeable guides, and learn why it is important to preserve our diminishing wildlife -- not only for their existence but ours as well. Our personalized, ONE-HOUR WALKING TOURS through the sanctuary are fun and educational. We guarantee an up-close view of the beautiful, majestic and elusive wolf. We welcome school groups, cub/boy/girl scout groups, nature enthusiasts, work parties and any other organization you may belong to. Some of the stories regarding our animals’ rescues are illustrative and not always pleasant. We do not “sugar coat” or hide truths of things that often times happen to animals in captivity or otherwise. We will always respect our visitors by not getting demonstrative or too graphic in detail, but please consider if you are ready for your children to learn about the fur industry, canned hunts, or other abusive situations that animals end up in. Our focus is conservation, education and preservation.

Why do we offer INTERACTIVE TOURS?

It is two-fold. The main reason is most people never will have the opportunity to see and/or touch a wolf.  These majestic animals are so important for our future balance of nature and they are one of the most misunderstood animals alive. They have been brought on the verge of extinction through extermination in the continental US with a little more than 5,000 wolves remaining today. Our educational tours which are required first educates you about the wolf, its importance and dispelling the old myths. The interactive part was designed so that those that can participate can have the most amazing experience. To run your fingers through their fur and a possible quick moment of looking in their eyes to capture the depth of their spirit and soul is something that you will never forget. Hopefully, when you walk out of that enclosure, you will have a better understanding of that animal and be a voice to help protect its future forever.

NOTE FOR ALL INTERACTIVE SESSIONS: (NOT Standard Tour) Unfortunately, we cannot allow persons who are frail, disabled mentally or physically, pregnant, suffering from medical conditions, or using medical devices (i.e. oxygen tanks, walkers, canes, colostomy bags, insulin pumps, bandages, etc.) to enter enclosures. You must be able to sit and stand unassisted and navigate uneven terrain that may be steep, rocky and gravelly. Staff will make the determination at the time of the interaction if the individual(s) is physically/mentally fit to enter the enclosure. Minimum ages apply.

No refunds, exchanges, or cancellations.

YEAR ROUND

$600 for 1 or 2 guests

$75 for each additional, maximum of 4

There are no limitations on the lens size used during a professional photo session. Photography sessions are by reservation only and are limited to morning or late afternoon (best lighting and wolf cooperation). All photographers must sign a release form before entering the enclosures and must be 18 or older. Please keep in mind that your pictures can help with our mission of conservation so we encourage you to promote the wolf and other wildlife with educational information with your pictures if used commercially.

CWWC has the right to refuse individuals we feel are not fit mentally or physically to enter the enclosures or for any reason that could stress or cause harm to our animals or the individuals. A handler will be with you at all times for the safety of the animals and the photographer as well as to encourage the animals into good locations for pictures. While most of these animals are socialized, they are still wild, and our first responsibility is to maintain their sanctuary. Our animals will not perform or pose unnaturally nor will we subject them to stressful situations. We reserve the right to reschedule the session at the discretion of the handler if he or she determines it's in the animals’ best interest.
